Here's who I am & what I do
I was born in China and moved to the U.S. in middle school. Since I was ten years old, horses have been intertwined throughout my self-exploration Journey.
As children, many people don’t know where they eventually want to go or who they want to be. However, I have always known exactly what I wanted to do from a young age; study and become a professional equestrian in the United States. Unfortunately, it wasn’t as simple as just setting my mind on my dream and knowing that I could make it come true
Time is equally given to every living thing on Earth. Time management is the biggest challenge I have faced in my life. The older I am, the more work I need to do both inside and outside of school. As a college student, and since I started an internship at We Ride Together and volunteered at an equestrian stable during the school year, a balance between academics, sports, volunteering, and internships became more important than anything. I believe that methodical time management can help me avoid distractions and achieve my goal faster.
